Beat Freaks | The Katzen Arts Center | November 9, 2010

Beat Freaks is a two-person art band featuring performance artists Kathryn Cornelius and Jeffry Cudlin. Their debut performance took place during the VIP Opening Reception for the WPA 35th Anniversary exhibition Catalyst at The Katzen Arts Center in November of 2010.

The band only plays art venues--museums, art fairs, and galleries. The band name was selected randomly, based solely on the availability of ready-made t-shirts deemed to have a suitable logo and resale value.

The Catalyst show was billed as the band's first and last gig ever, but art world-ers would do well to be vigilant: We may yet be rocking you.
